The Joy of Modern Floral Art Paintings

The Joy of Modern Floral Art Paintings

The floral paintings I create are born from the happiness I imagine in my mind, and they serve as a way to share these very special feelings with the world. Hand-painting modern floral art is a daunting experience since there is no sketch, and each floral element is a composition of its own. This modern approach involves painting without predefined sketches, relying solely on the imagined placement of each flower on the canvas and harmonizing colors as they intuitively belong to each floral element.

The Spontaneity of Creation

Creating modern floral art is an intensely personal and spontaneous process. It begins with an unplanned and instinctive placement of flowers, where each stroke of paint and each choice of color is guided by emotion and imagination rather than premeditated design. The first layer of florals forms the baseline of the painting. As this initial layer develops, thoughts of subsequent layers begin to take shape, envisioning how they will interact and harmonize with the underlying elements. This layered approach brings depth and complexity to the artwork, with each new addition building upon the last to create a rich tapestry of colors and forms.

The Mental and Emotional Journey

The process is not just about the physical act of painting, but also about the mental and emotional journey. It involves continuous movement around the canvas, turning it in different directions to gain new perspectives and insights. This dynamic interaction with the artwork allows for a fluid and organic development of the composition, where each decision is informed by the evolving interplay of colors and shapes.

The Influence of Jackson Pollock

Jackson Pollock, a major figure in Abstract Expressionism, developed his drip technique by pacing up and down the canvas, layering colors until the composition emerged as a masterpiece. Similarly, I employ a dynamic and action-oriented technique to create modern floral art. I express the florals through action painting, moving around and turning the canvas in different directions until the entire composition becomes a cohesive and finished piece of modern floral art.

The Dance of Painting

This method of painting is akin to a dance, where each movement is both deliberate and spontaneous, guided by an inner rhythm and intuition. The result is a vibrant and expressive piece of art that captures the essence of joy and the beauty of nature in a modern and abstract form. Through this process, I hope to convey the same sense of happiness and wonder that inspired the creation of each painting, sharing a piece of my inner world with others.
